The Nepal Women's Tri-Nation Series, organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal, will kick-start from Thursday, January 30. The tournament will feature a total of 10 games, with the final to be played on February 8. (More Cricket News)
All games will be played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur. The three participating teams are - Nepal women, Netherlands women and Thailand women. The tri-series will feature a triple round-robin format.
Following the group stage, the top two will advance to the final. The teams will be captained by Indu Barma (Nepal women), Babette de Leede (Netherlands women) and Naruemol Chaiwai (Thailand women).
The tournament holds significant importance for the Dutch, as their performance will impact their chances of qualifying for an ODI status spot in the ICC Women's WC 2025-29 pathway cycle.
On the other hand, Thailand women have already qualified for the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 Qualifiers.
