Batting first, Pakistan posted a modest total of 165/4 in 20 overs, led by decent knocks of Irfan Khan (27 off 15) and Tayyab Tahir (39 off 25). It was a solid late cameo from the lower order that lifted them to a challenging score.

Nevertheless, Pakistan bounced back with a 10-wicket win in the second and sealed the series with a 99-run victory in the third, thanks to maiden tons from Saim Ayub and Kamran Ghulam.
