The match held at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur saw the hosts lose the match by a two-run margin when the Riyan Parag-led side failed to chase down nine runs in the final over of the match.

They came into that match after losing another close game against Delhi Capitals, where Mitchell Starc managed to defend nine runs in the final over to take the game into a Super Over, where they lost the game.

After such close defeats, the RCA ad hoc committee convener has accused the franchise of match-fixing and has also asked top officials to check into the matter.

Jaideep Bihani's comments questioning the result and hinting at possible tampering prompted a strong reaction from the Rajasthan Royals. The IPL franchise has filed a formal complaint with the Chief Minister, Sports Minister, and Sports Secretary, demanding strict action against Bihani.

- The latest two-run win was seen in an IPL match, when Rajasthan Royals failed to score nine runs in the final over against Lucknow Super Giants in Jaipur.

- Eight matches have seen three-run wins in the IPL. The latest one came in the 2023 season when RR defeated CSK by three runs in Chennai.

- IPL has seen only five matches where the game ended with the team batting second winning by a one-wicket margin. The latest victory came this season when Delhi Capitals pulled off a magic win against LSG in Visakhapatnam, where Ashutosh Sharma played a match-winning knock.

Two-Wicket Wins

- 10 matches have seen two-wicket wins in IPL history so far. The latest of a two-wicket win came last year, when RR defeated KKR at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Three-Wicket Wins

- 31 matches have seen a three-wicket-win finish in the IPL, with the latest coming last season, when GT defeated Punjab Kings at Mullanpur in Chandigarh.
