The Capitals' momentum switch continues as they dismiss Virat Kohli and Liam Livingstone to leave Bengaluru four down. Vipraj Nigam has Kohli caught by Starc at long-off, while Mohit Sharma's length ball has Livingstone miscuing a slog to backward point, where Ashutosh Sharma pouches it. Patidar is joined by Jitesh Sharma now in the middle, and the run rate has fallen to eight and a half.

Tim David has played a vital hand at the back end of the Challengers innings to push them to a 163-run total. The score may not be a big or even par for the conditions, but it is respectable considering the fact that RCB were at 127 for seven after 18 overs. David ends up with an unbeaten 37 off 20 on the back of four sixes and two fours, and has given the home team something to defend.

The 40-year-old Proteas legend has the 22-year-old Jake Fraser Mc-Gurk with him at the other end, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar has the ball. The out-of-favour India seamer bowls a tidy first over, giving away just one run.

This is turning out to be a fascinating game of T20 cricket. In a departure from the high-scorers that Chinnaswamy usually produces, we may be in for a (relatively) low-scoring scrap tonight. RCB have sent back the DC top three. All three, Faf du Plessis, Jake Fraser-McGurk and Abishek Porel, have been dismissed miscuing attempted on-side shots. Is the ball holding onto the pitch a tad bit? Perhaps. Meanwhile, Suyash Sharma comes in as Impact Sub for Bengaluru to add to their slow-bowling options.

A superbly paced knock from KL Rahul has swung the momentum back the Capitals' way. The India batter began circumspectly to rebuild, then cut loose once the opportunity presented itself to bring the asking rate down below eight. In the meantime, he brings up a potentially match-winning fifty and is currently unbeaten at 74 off 47. Tristan Stubbs (27 not out off 18) has settled in nicely alongside him.

And that's it. KL Rahul effortlessly lifts a full toss over the fine leg fence to finish the match with a six, and end up unbeaten on a sublime 93 off 53 balls. The chase is done and dusted in 17.5 overs, with six wickets to spare. Delhi notch up their fourth win on the bounce, while RCB's home woes continue.

Here's what KL Rahul said after his match-winning knock of 93 not out for Delhi Capitals:
"It was a slightly tricky wicket but what helped me was being behind the stumps for 20 overs, watching how the wicket played. The ball sat in the wicket but it was consistent throughout, it was one-paced. I knew what my shots are, wanted to get off to a good start, and then assess it accordingly. It depends on the conditions and the ground and the dimensions.
"On a wicket like this, I knew what my pockets were. If I wanted to hit a big six, I knew what pockets to target, and keeping gave me a feeler for where other batters were dismissed and where they hit the sixes. Got lucky with the dropped catch.
"This is my ground, my home, know this (ground) better than anyone else. Something I have always done with my preparation is that I always try to adapt to different wickets (even in practice). I experiment in practice, get out a couple of times but it gives me a fair idea of the areas I can target - where I can take singles, where I can hit sixes.
"I don't keep batting for hours and hours and keep slogging. I do that sometimes but that is when I am not getting into a flow and rhythm. It is more about how I can master playing (on a particular pitch) and that becomes second-nature."
