RCB 16-17 PBKS
Even though Punjab have a one-game lead in the head to head record, the last time they won against RCB was in 2022. Since then, both teams have played thrice and RCB have defeated PBKS all three times.
Also at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, PBKS last beat RCB way back in 2017.
The skies are predicted to be a bit cloudy and the temperature would remain below 30C during the match time. It will be humid with 25% chances of precipitation.
Toss pushed back due to rain as RCB welcome PBKS to M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
The first ball should have been bowled by now, but it's still drizzling, keeping everyone waiting. A sizable crowd is already at the Chinnaswamy, stuck waiting for the rain to ease up.
The drizzle continues, but it라이브 바카라 barely there, light enough that BCCI officials are standing casually by the boundary without umbrellas or jackets. It라이브 바카라 more of a stubborn mist than a proper delay, but it라이브 바카라 still just enough to keep play from starting.
Rain continues to delay proceedings at the venue. The toss must take place by 10:41 PM for there to be a game, and if play is to happen at all tonight, it has to begin no later than 10:56 PM.
It라이브 바카라 now 8:51 PM IST, and we’re still waiting. An update was expected around 8:30 PM, but that never came. The drizzle lingers, keeping the players off the field and the crowd guessing. Overs will start getting deducted from here on.
The ground staff have begun peeling off the covers, with the sub-air system getting ready to take over next. The main pitch remains under wraps for now, but it라이브 바카라 likely to be uncovered soon. The supersopper is already at work, and overall, things are finally looking upbeat at Chinnaswamy.
The players are finally out and warming up, a welcome sight after the long delay. The umpires are in the middle, deep in discussion with the groundstaff, assessing the conditions. All signs point to some action soon.
The players are now warming up as the umpires confer with the groundstaff in the middle. According to the broadcast, the toss is scheduled for 9:30 PM, with the first ball expected at 9:45 PM. The match will be reduced to a 14-over-a-side game.
Rajat Patidar tossed the coin, and Shreyas Iyer made the correct call. As a result, Punjab Kings will be bowling first.

Punjab Kings Impact Subs: Prabhsimran Singh, Vijaykumar Vyshak, Suryansh Shedge, Glenn Maxwell, Praveen Dubey
RCB openers are ready to go, with Phil Salt and Virat Kohli taking strike. Arshdeep Singh has the ball in hand.
Phil Salt opened with a boundary, driving a full ball from Arshdeep Singh neatly through mid-on. But the bowler hit back hard. After a couple of deliveries that shaped away and one that tailed in as a yorker, Arshdeep struck. He banged one in short, and Salt went for the pull, only to miscue it. Josh Inglis sprinted in from behind the stumps and took a sharp catch at short midwicket. Salt departs for 4 off 4.
Rajat Patidar walked in at No. 3 and made an instant impact. Arshdeep strayed full and straight, and Patidar timed it beautifully past mid-on for four. He added a single to close out the over.
Arshdeep Singh strikes again. Virat Kohli falls for just 1. It was a short-of-length delivery, cross-seamed and angled across the right-hander. Kohli, stuck on the front foot, went for an ambitious pull but only managed a top-edge.
For a moment, it looked like it might clear the infield, but Marco Jansen charged back from mid-on, judged it beautifully, and held on despite tumbling to the ground. RCB lose both openers early, big blow.
Yuzvendra Chahal tosses it up on off stump, Jitesh Sharma takes a half-step forward and gently pushes it towards cover-point. No run.
RCB have posted their lowest score in the first six overs of the season, with 33/4, marking the first time they have lost four wickets in the powerplay (overs 1-6).
In the 6.2 over, Marco Jansen bowled a short delivery to Tim David, who picked the length early and executed a powerful pull shot. David swivels across and clubbed the ball in front of square on the on-side, beating the fielder coming across from the deep for a much-needed four.
A confident lbw appeal from Jansen, and after a brief pause, the umpire raises the finger. Bhandage decides to review, but things don’t look good for Bengaluru. He attempted a flick shot with an almost half-closed bat face, and his feet were in an awkward position, almost one behind the other.
The delivery was on length, and as he tried to clip it away, he missed. The review shows the ball would have clipped the leg stump, and the decision stands, much to Bengaluru's frustration.
Arshdeep Singh delivered a wide delivery outside off stump, angling it across Tim David. David, with a quick flick of the wrists, reached out and cut it past backward point. The ball raced away to the boundary, bringing up a well-timed four. It was an effortless shot from David, displaying his confidence and timing.
Harpreet Brar steps in and changes the game in two balls. Bhuvneshwar lofts him for a four over cover, finally breaking the shackles, but then tries to go straight and mistimes it badly. Bartlett runs in from long-off and hangs on.
Next ball, Yash Dayal is completely undone by a straight one that crashes into the pad. Plumb. Two in two for Brar, Hyderabad slipping fast.
Tim David is turning it on for RCB. He stands tall to a flatter one from Harpreet Brar and sends it sailing over the rope, clean, effortless, and right off the middle. Just what Bengaluru needed.
Tim David finishes the over with a flourish, and a lifeline for RCB. Three sixes on the trot, the last of them coming off a no-ball that he sliced over deep point with ease. He races to a rapid-fire fifty, and just when it looked like RCB were down for the count, David lights a spark. Even Hazlewood had started walking off, but David라이브 바카라 not done yet. There's still a sliver of hope for Bengaluru.
RCB are in a similar position to PBKS just a few days ago, when they defended a modest total of 111 against KKR. With 95/9 on the board, can RCB replicate PBKS's impressive bowling performance? PBKS's bowlers were clinical, and though RCB have a low score to defend, they’ll need something special to make this chase interesting. Will they pull off what PBKS did, or will the target be too small to defend? Stay tuned.
Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya step up to the crease, with Prabhsimran having a bit of fun in the dugout. The rain may have dampened the atmosphere, but the Chinnaswamy crowd had been lively until recently.
Now, with the chase set to begin, the energy seems to have shifted, and it라이브 바카라 time to see if Punjab Kings can chase down the target set by RCB.
A strong start for Punjab! Yash Dayal bowls to Priyansh Arya, and it라이브 바카라 a boundary! Arya goes after a pitched-up delivery outside off, swinging away. He edges it thickly, but it flies over the slip fielder and races to the boundary for four. A lucky escape, but the runs are flowing for Punjab.
Bhuvneshwar strikes to break the opening partnership, as Prabhsimran Singh departs for 13 off 9 balls. The delivery was on the shorter side, and Prabhsimran tried to pull it but got a top edge. Tim David was quick to react at mid-on, running in to take a clean catch and send Prabhsimran back to the pavilion.
Hazlewood gets his first as Priyansh Arya departs. A short delivery from Hazlewood climbs onto the batter, who attempts a cross-batted shot but top-edges it to mid-off. Tim David is quick to latch onto the catch, and Arya is dismissed for 16 off 11 balls.
Josh Inglis plays the ball down to deep point for a single. It's Hazlewood's second over, and Inglis carefully guides it, playing on top of the bounce. The ball rises and is played wide of the fielder at point, earning him a run.
Hazlewood gets the breakthrough. Shreyas Iyer is out, caught by Jitesh Sharma after a brilliant catch. The ball bounced higher than expected, catching the top edge of Iyer라이브 바카라 bat off a short, wide delivery. Iyer went for an ambitious slash, but the ball flew straight to Jitesh, who stretched full out to make a sharp grab.
Shashank Singh stays watchful, no run. Nehal Wadhera tries to flick a length ball off the pads but misses, it deflects off the pad into the on-side and they sneak a leg bye.
Suyash Sharma won’t be thrilled with this over. Nehal Wadhera launches a massive six to start, full and wide, and he sends it sailing over long-off into the first tier. The very next ball spins big and beats everyone, even the keeper, racing away for four byes.
Then comes a thick outside edge that races past slip for another boundary. Three balls, 14 runs, and the pressure is all on RCB now. Just 25 needed, and Wadhera is going after the spinner.
Shashank Singh라이브 바카라 brief stay comes to an end. He looked uncomfortable at the crease, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar made the most of it with a back-of-a-length ball angled in. Shashank tried to punch it down the ground but only managed to get it off the splice of the bat.
It went high rather than far, and Phil Salt at long-on settled under it with ease. Just never got the timing right, and he walks back for 1 off 5.
In a rain-shortened 14-over match at Chinnaswamy, Punjab Kings beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru by five wickets. Arshdeep Singh struck early, and RCB collapsed to 50/7 before Tim David라이브 바카라 unbeaten 50 lifted them to 95/9. Despite early wickets and a fiery spell from Josh Hazlewood, Nehal Wadhera guided Punjab to the target.
That's a wrap. We'll catch you again with another live blog, until then, take care and goodbye!
