As per reports, Shivalik was in relationship with a woman who has now alleged that the cricketer engaged in physical relations with her under the false pretext of marriage. Reports stated that Shivalik had met the woman in Vadodara two winters ago and after that they developed a close relationship and have since been in touch over the phone
He was brought to the court and then sent to judicial custody on the basis of the complaint.
A batting all-rounder, Shivalik has featured for Baroda in 18 First Class, 13 List A and 19 T20s. The 26-year-old has over 1000 First Class runs at an average of 43.48. Apart from being a left-hander batter, Shivalik can also bowl leg-break spin. He made his debut for Baroda in 2018 and was part of the team's most recent Ranji campaign as well.
Shivalik was bought by Mumbai Indians ahead of IPL 2023 but was never selected in the Playing Xi and thus has not made his IPL debut.
