South Africa inserted Pakistan to bat first and restricted them to 211 runs in the first innings as Dane Paterson took his second Test fifer and the debutant Corbin Bosch took four wickets. Pakistan managed to take three early wickets but Temba Bavuma and Aiden Markram remained unbeaten as the hosts still trail by 129 runs.

We are just moments away from the start of the second day of the first Test between South Africa and Pakistan as the hosts eye to bat long and big with Aiden Markram and Temba Bavuma out there in the middle.
The players are out there in the middle and we are ready to get it all underway. The sun is out, and it is a bright morning with some rain expected later on in the day. South Africa are up and running on Day as Naseem Shah has the ball for Pakistan.
Both Temba Bavuma and Aiden Markram are looking in the zone, well set, and are taking every run that comes their way. The opener is batting on 62*, while the skipper is unbeaten on 12. Pakistan, who have started with Naseem Shah and Mohammad Abbas are yet to make a breakthrough.
No real aggression from any of the Pakistani bowlers since the start of the day라이브 바카라 play. Both the batters have looked very much at ease and the runs have come at a decent rate for South Africa. The hosts trail by 84 runs and will want to score those runs and start to pile pressure on Pakistan.
Pakistan finally have their much-needed breakthrough and it is Aamer Jamal who has provided it. South Africa lose their skipper Temba Bavuma as he edged one to Mohammad Rizwan. Simple, easy catch and Rizwan makes no mistake.
Naseem Shah returned to the attack and created an impact right away with a huge appeal off his first delivery. Shan opted for the review at the last moment. It was a fuller ball, angled in, rapping the pads with the leg stump visible.
There was some speculation about an inside edge, but replays showed the ball was clearly going down leg. Ball tracking confirmed the wickets were missing, resulting in a lost review. Earlier, Bedingham managed a leg bye off a fuller delivery while attempting a flick, and Markram played out a dot ball.
Naseem Shah strikes and how. Bedingham falls to a loose shot, gifting his wicket to the visitors. The delivery was clocked at 139 km/h, pitched on a good length, and didn’t require much effort from the bowler.
Bedingham pushed at it half-heartedly, offering a straightforward catch to Kamran Ghulam at first slip. It was a tame dismissal, especially considering the form Bedingham was in, scoring briskly with five boundaries in his 30 off 33 balls.
Markram라이브 바카라 frustration was evident as he kicked the ground even before the catch was completed. This was a wicket completely against the run of play, and it has brought the visitors right back into the contest.

The second session begins with Khurram Shahzad steaming in. Markram stays composed, starting with a backfoot pat into the off-side off a 133 kph delivery. He follows it up with a defensive push into the off-side, using the crease to adjust.
Shahzad then tests him with a back-of-a-length ball outside off, which Markram drops to gully with soft hands. The over concludes with a single to deep backward point, as Markram keeps the scoreboard ticking.
What a way to get off the mark in Test cricket. Khurram Shahzad angled one onto the pads, and Corbin Bosch, with perfect balance and timing, clipped it effortlessly into the gap for a boundary.
Shortly after, Bosch highlighted South Africa라이브 바카라 remarkable batting depth. Facing a back-of-a-length delivery, he stood tall and unleashed a classy punch through the off-side, threading the gap beautifully for another four.
Naseem bowled a short-of-length ball that hit the seam and deviated sharply, thudding into the keeper라이브 바카라 gloves. For a moment, it seemed like Bosch had edged it, prompting a review.
However, replays revealed the ball missed the bat by a significant margin. It turned out to be an ill-advised review, arguably one of the poorest of 2024—leaving the fielding side with no reviews remaining.
Corbin Bosch adds another four to his tally, showcasing his authority at the crease. Facing a full delivery outside off from Naseem Shah, he leaned into the shot and unleashed a crisp drive on the up, threading the gap to beat the fielder at deep cover.
Moments later, he struck again with another classy boundary. At 137 kph, the ball was pitched outside off, and Bosch pressed forward with intent, driving it wide of cover and finding the gap perfectly. Bosch is putting on a show with his strokeplay, delivering a gem of an innings.
First South African to score 50 on debut, Corbin Bosch drives Abbas for a FOUR. At 127 clicks, Bosch leans into the ball, sending it wide of mid-off. A hard-hitting knock that has shaken Pakistan a little. The young man marks his debut with a brilliant innings.
Saim Ayub bowls a no-run delivery to Paterson, clocking 84 kph. Paterson goes back and tucks the ball to the on-side. The keeper offers some advice to the bowler, though it라이브 바카라 unlikely it was to bowl one onto the pads.
Another boundary by Corbin Bosch, and these runs are adding to Pakistan's woes. It was a short delivery, Bosch tried to pull but got a huge top-edge. The ball flew over the keeper and wide of fine leg for a lucky four. The lead now extends to 88
South Africa have been bowled out with a 90-run lead, and they have debutant Corbin Bosch to thank for it. When Aiden Markram was dismissed for 89, the score was 213 for 8, and South Africa라이브 바카라 lead was just 2 runs. But Bosch played a brilliant innings, first partnering with Kagiso Rabada and then with Duanne Olivier, guiding his team past the 300-run mark.
His knock of 81* was a delight to watch, featuring 15 boundaries and a series of elegant strokes. Pakistan struggled against the tail, relying mostly on their three specialist bowlers, and their fatigue was evident.

The debutant is now showcasing his skills with the ball. Saim Ayub, however, is off to a confident start with the bat. He picks a short delivery on the pads early, swivels, and pulls it behind square on the on-side. The ball races past the lone fielder in the deep for a boundary.
Rabada bowls a fuller-length delivery on off, and Saim Ayub presses forward, skewing it to the on-side. On the next delivery, he faces a good-length ball in the channel around off, and Ayub responds with an open-stanced defensive push to the off-side. The following ball is shorter, holding its line outside off, and Saim plays inside the line, letting it go.
Kagiso Rabada delivers a rocket of a ball to Saim Ayub, and it's all over for the batter. A sudden burst of pace beats Saim on the drive. The ball pitches up on off, holding its line, and Saim plays completely down the wrong line.

Babar Azam comes to the crease.
Marco Jansen bowls short to Kamran Ghulam, who drops his gloves and sways away from the line, letting the ball pass. The next delivery is on a good length, angling back into the right-hander, and Ghulam leaves it alone. Jansen follows up with a short ball, angling back in, and Ghulam lifts his bat to let it go, comfortably watching the ball pass by.
Paterson delivers a short and wide ball outside off, and Babar Azam plays a perfectly timed cut shot, getting on top of the bounce and sending it backward of square on the off-side for a boundary.
As darkness sets in, umpire Nitin Menon checks the light meter. With the scheduled close of play already upon us, the players are walking off the field. Bad light has halted play, and it seems unlikely they'll be returning today.
