DECEMBER 8 - BAZBALL ENGLAND TRIUMPH IN NEW ZEALAND
England blasted their way to a massive 323-run victory at the Basin Reserve to secure their first series win in New Zealand since 2008.
England라이브 바카라 revolutionary batting approach – popularly known as ‘Bazball’ – was on full display, both at Christchurch and Wellington, as the visitors hammered their runs at a rate of 5.18 – the second-highest scoring rate for them ever in a Test series.
Harry Brook was the star for England smashing two hundreds and a fifty in three innings at a strike rate of 93.6.Brydon Carse was the leading wicket-taker of the series with 18 dismissals at an average of 17.6.
England recovered from 71 for 4 in the first innings in Christchurch and hammered their way to 499 courtesy two brilliant counter-attacking partnerships.
Brook and Ollie Pope smashed 151 off just 188 deliveries for the fourth wicket before Ben Stokes joined hands with Brook and the pair added 159 off 198 deliveries for the fifth. Brook was outstanding and scored a scintillating 171 off 197 deliveries.
Carse bagged ten wickets for the match as England romped home by eight wickets.
Brook again showcased his class in Wellington and smoked a breathtaking 123 off just 115 deliveries – an innings which included 11 fours and 5 sixes – to take England from an under-pressure 26 for 3 (which worsened to 43 for 4) to a competitive 280 in the first innings.
Carse again made inroads in the top-middle order and bagged four wickets to rout New Zealand for a paltry 125. England dominated the match thereafter and registered a massive 323-run victory.
DECEMBER 8 – ANOTHER PINK-BALL NIGHTMARE FOR INDIA IN ADELAIDE
It was not quite the horror of 36 all-out in 2020, but it was another humiliating defeat for India within three days in the Pink Ball Test at the Adelaide Oval.
The visitors lasted a total of 81 overs across the two innings failing to reach 200 even once in the match. While Mitchell Starc ran through the Indian line-up picking six wickets in the first innings, Pat Cummins returned with a fifer in the second.
DECEMBER 15 –RAHANE, IYER BLAST MUMBAI TO SMAT VICTORY
Mumbai chased down Madhya Pradesh라이브 바카라 174/8 within 18 overs to lift their second Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy title in Bengaluru.
While Suryansh Shedge was the Player of the Match in the final for his cameo unbeaten 36 off 15 deliveries, it was Ajinkya Rahane who was adjudged the Player of the Series for his aggregate of 469 runs (the highest in the tournament) at a high scoring rate of 164.6.
Shreyas Iyer, who was the second-highest run-getter for Mumbai, won his second T20 title of the year as captain. He had led KKR to victory in this season of the IPL.
DECEMBER 19 – THE CHAMPIONS TROPHY IMPASSE ENDS
The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy standoff finally ended with the ICC, BCCI and PCB accepting a hybrid model that will see India라이브 바카라 matches being hosted by a neutral venue, which in this case would most probably be UAE.
In return, all Pakistan matches in ICC eventshosted by India till end of 2027 would also take place at a neutral venue.
DECEMBER 22 – PAKISTAN WHITEWASH SOUTH AFRICA IN HISTORIC ODI WIN
Pakistan scripted their first ODI series sweep against South Africa hammering the hosts by 36 runs in a rain-affected clash in Johannesburg.
It was South Africa라이브 바카라 maiden home-series whitewash. Opener, Saim Ayub, was the star performer for Pakistan and the second-highest scorer of the series with an aggregate of 235 runs which included two hundreds at Paarl and Johannesburg.
