And just like that, Fortuin gets his man! A short ball outside off, de Zorzi attempts the cut but can't get on top of the bounce. The ball floats up, and Phehlukwayo, stationed at backward point, makes an excellent diving catch to his left. Fortuin strikes again in the powerplay, continuing his impressive run.
Jordan Hermann comes to the crease.

Ngidi to Hermann, and what a classy shot! He goes full, and Hermann crunches it straight back past the bowler for a boundary. The next ball overpitches to Hermann, who punishes it down the ground, staying leg-side of the full delivery to thrashed it wide of mid-off for another FOUR.
Then, a short ball from Ngidi, angling down leg, and Hermann makes it look effortless, pulling it for a massive SIX that flies over the fine leg fence.
SEC 37/1 (4.2)
Both openers are back in the hut inside the first five overs. Bedingham, looking to go big, slogs it down the ground but mishits, getting more height than distance. The ball hangs in the air, and Mid-on runs back, calmly settling under the catch. Sunrisers' average powerplay score this season is 37/2, and it seems unlikely they'll improve on that today.
Bedingham is dismissed for 11 off 11 balls, including one boundary, well caught by Rubin Hermann off Fortuin.
Tom Abell comes to the crease.

Another wicket falls, and this time it's Tom Abell. Wellalage has the last laugh. He drags the length back, bowling it wide of off, and Abell, looking to cut, slices it off the outside half of the bat.
The ball goes to the right of backward point, where Malinga dives to his right and takes a brilliant catch with great control. Abell departs for 9 off 11 balls, including one boundary, caught by Eshan Malinga off Wellalage.
Aiden Markram comes to the crease.

A brilliant fifty from Jordan Hermann. The ball is floated up full and wide, and Hermann steps down the track, launching it back past the bowler with sheer power. It's his highest score of the season, and what a moment to find his form.
SEC 91/3 (11.3)
The Jordan Hermann reign comes to an end! A slower delivery from Malinga, and Hermann tries to drive it down the ground but can't keep it down. He attempts to go square, slicing it off the thick outside edge to the left of backward point.
Phehlukwayo leaps across and takes a stunning catch above his head. Hermann departs for 53 off 38 balls, including six boundaries and a six, caught by Phehlukwayo off Malinga.

That will hurt! A big wicket for Owen as he claims his first SA20 scalp, and it's a crucial one. He pitches it full outside off, tempting Markram into the drive, but the connection isn't clean. A faint edge carries through to Pretorius, and there's no doubt about it. Markram walks off, visibly frustrated, knowing he라이브 바카라 missed a big opportunity.
Marco Jansen comes to the crease.

SEC post 148/8 in their 20 overs, an innings of two contrasting halves, salvaged late by Tristan Stubbs with a crucial 23-run final over. Jordan Hermann was the standout earlier, timing the ball beautifully while others struggled.
The Royals' spinners, led by captain Bjorn Fortuin, were outstanding, with Mujeeb keeping it tight and Owen impressing until the final over, while Malinga thrived at the death. Though the Royals won’t see this as an intimidating target, they’ll know they could have been chasing much less. Stay tuned for the chase!
Wow! The chase is off to a rocky start with PR stumbling at 11/3 in just 2.1 overs. Marco Jansen strikes, sending Mitchell Owen back for just 7. Dug in short with extra bounce, Owen looks to pull but only manages a top edge as he tries to create room. The ball balloons high, and Abell settles under it at mid-wicket, taking a well-judged catch. A big blow for the Royals as the dangerous Owen departs early.
PR 11/3 (2.1)
What a poor shot selection! Wellalage had played two lovely shots. Then, he presents his wicket on a platter. Shuffling across his stumps to scoop a full delivery around off, he gets a thick edge off the toe of the bat. The ball flies straight to mid-wicket, where it's an easy catch.
Wellalage was trying to hit the ball behind square on the leg side, but the mis-hitting sends it elsewhere. And now, with half the side back in the dugout, we are only in the fourth over.
Rubin Hermann is doing the rescue work for Paarl Royals. Richard Gleeson bowls a short ball down the leg side, and Hermann takes full advantage. With a powerful swing, he pulls it wide of fine leg, beating him to his right for a boundary.
Another four. A full delivery on the pads, and Phehlukwayo makes no mistake. Clearing his front leg, he effortlessly heaves it behind square for another boundary.
Mujeeb his first boundary. The ball has been bowled short on length, around the middle and leg. Mujeeb clears the front foot, hammers it over mid-wicket. Jansen dives right, but the ball races off to the boundary.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape won by 48 runs
A good win for the Sunrisers Eastern Cape. They have totally outplayed Paarl Royals. Jordan Hermann (53) and Tristan Stubbs (43) took the Sunrisers to 148/8. Craig Overton and Marco Jansen then rocked the Paarl Royals top order to set up the victory. Both Overton and Jansen picked three wickets each and Royals were bowled out for just 100. They lost the game by 48 runs. Both teams have already qualified for the play-offs so the result would not matter that much.
The result does not alter the equations too much. Paarl Royals will still move ahead as the second best team of the league stage and face MI Cape Town while Sunrisers Eastern Cape will meet Joburg Super Kings in the Eliminator.
