Unbeaten Maharashtra will look for a fifth straight win when they take on minnows Sikkim at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. Led by star batter Ruturaj Gaikwad, Maharashtra have steamrolled Rajasthan, Services, Meghalaya, and Himachal Pradesh.
Sikkim, on the contrary, have suffered defeats at the hands of Services, Himachal Pradesh, Andhra and Railways. Earlier this month, Baroda scored 349/5, the highest-ever T20 total, against Sikkim in a Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match. Expect another one-sided affair.

Railways started their campaign with a 91-run defeat against Andhra, but Upendra Yadav & Co. have bounced back pretty well to register three wins on the trot -- Meghalaya by 132 runs, Services by seven wickets, and Sikkim by five wickets.
For Himachal Pradesh, who started with relatively easier matches against Meghalaya and Sikkim, the Railways fixture is the start of a crunch schedule. And they have already suffered defeats against Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

The Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-24 group stage matches will not be streamed or telecast. The knockout matches, however, will be streamed live and telecast on JioCinema and Sports18 channels, respectively.
The knockouts will begin on January 9, 2025, with preliminary quarter-finals. The final is scheduled for January 19. All knockout matches will be played in Vadodara.
