Ruturaj Gaikwad's Maharashtra cantered to a comfortable eight-wicket win over Sikkim in their last outing, and a win against second-place Andhra will confirm their top spot going into the knock-outs.
Andhra, who lost to Rajasthan in the second round, have registered a third win on the bounce with a 10-wicket win over Meghalaya.
A defeat could prove detrimental for Andhra as Railways and Rajasthan, two other teams with 16 points each, face off in another big-ticket Group B match. Fourth-place Himachal Pradesh take on Services in a mid-table fixture while minnows Sikkim and Meghalaya fight to avoid the wooden spoon.

38 teams in India's premier List A competition have been divided into five groups, of eight teams (A, B and C), and seven teams (D and E) each.
After the group stage, the top two teams from each group will progress to the knock-outs with the top five group winners automatically qualifying for the quarter-finals.
They will be joined by the best team among the second-ranked teams in the last eight. The other four second-ranked teams will play in the pre-quarterfinals with the winners completing the quarter-final line-up.
The Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 group stage matches will not be telecast on TV or streamed online. The knockout matches, however, will be streamed live and telecast on JioCinema and Sports18 channels, respectively.
The knockouts will begin on January 9, 2025, with preliminary quarter-finals. The final is scheduled for January 19. All knockout matches will be played in Vadodara.
