WPL Auction 2025 Highlights: Gujarat Giants’ Simran Shaikh, Deandra Dottin Most Expensive Purchases

The Women라이브 바카라 Premier League 2025 auction will be available for live telecasting on the Star Sports and Sports18 channel from 3PM IST. Live streaming of the WPL event will be available on the JioCinema app and website.

124 players will go under the hammer, with 19 slots to be filled. Each squad can have a maximum of six overseas players.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru, led by Smriti Mandhana, are the defending champions, after beating the Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2024 final at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Luke Williams, the head coach, told that the team management retained a strong core to ensure consistency and trust.

Gujarat Giants purse: 4.40 crore (four slots remaining, one overseas)

UP Warriorz purse: 3.90 crore (three slots remaining, one overseas)

Royals Challengers Bengaluru purse: 3.25 crore (four slots, zero overseas)

Mumbai Indians purse: 2.65 crore (four slots, one overseas)

Delhi Capitals purse: 2.50 crore (four slots, one overseas)

We now turn our attention to Set 1 of the 2025 Women's Premier Leagye auction.

Overall in the mini-auction, there are four price slabs – Rs 50 lakh, Rs 30 lakh, Rs 20 lakh and Rs 10 lakh

Mallika Sagar is the auctioneer for the 2025 Women's Premier League mini-auction. She was also the auctioneer for the recently held IPL Mega Auction.

The first player to go under the hammer for the evening is West Indian all-rounder Deandra Dottin, who has a base price of Rs 50 lakh.

After a brief bidding war between UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants, Dottin will play for the Giants.

Danielle Gibson of England, with a base price of Rs 30 lakh and India라이브 바카라 Poonam Yadav, also with a base price of Rs 30 lakh have gone unsold. 

England skipper Heather Knight, who entered the WPL 2025 mini-auction with a base price of Rs 50 lakh, will remain unsold.

West Indies all-rounder Chinelle Henry and English off-spinner Sarah Glenn, fail to find any buyers. Both the overseas players entered with a base price of Rs 30 lakh.

England opener Maia Bouchier, and both of Australia라이브 바카라 Heather Graham and Darcie Brown will remain unsold.

Australia pacer Lauren Cheatle and India all-rounder Sneh Rana with a base price of 30 lakh, find no buyers.

South Africa all-rounder Nadine de Klerk has been signed by the inaugural WPL champions Mumbai Indians for her base price of Rs 30 lakh. 

Australia wrist spinner Alana King goes unsold, while Indian all-rounder Shubha Satheesh also goes unsold. Surprisingly, Ireland all-rounder Orla Prendergast also goes unsold. 

Indian wicketkeeper Sushma Verma and all-rounders C Prathyusha as well as Tejas Hasabnis find no buyers. 

Uncapped wicketkeeper G Kamalini will play for Mumbai Indians. The 16-year-old, with a base price of Rs 10 lakh is sold for 1.6 crore. Talk about talent, talk about opportunity and a platform.

Simran Shaikh, another uncapped player with a base price of Rs 10 lakh will play for Gujarat Giants. She also becomes the most expensive player of the auction, with a winning bid of 1.9 crore. 

Delhi Capitals have signed uncapped wicketkeeper Nandini Kashyap for Rs 10 lakh, and it was coming as the Capitals needed a back-up keeper. 

Uncapped all-rounder Tanisha Singh, off-spinner Jagravi Pawar as well as all-rounder Raghvi Bish find no teams.

S Yashasri remains unsold, while batter Pratika Rawal also finds no buyers. While uncapped all-rounder Humairaa Kaazi goes unsold.

Prema Rawat will play for Royal Challengers Bengaluru with a bid of a war, with RCB eventually picking her for 1.2 crore. 

Australia라이브 바카라 Laura Harris, who had a base price of Rs 10 lakh finds no buyers, and so does Indian all-rounder Fatima Jaffer goes unsold.

Each of the five teams will submit five names for the acceleration auction which will get underway in 30 minutes. Indian domestic players however, have been the flair so far in the mini-auction.

Here's a glimpse of Kamalini's talent, technique playing against Pakistan in the Women's U19 Asia Cup.

Indian all-rounder Mansi Joshi, with a base price of Rs 30 lakh will remain unsold. While on the other hand, South Africa's Lizelle Lee and New Zealand pacer Rosemary Mair find no bidders.

Australia라이브 바카라 Milly Illingworth finds no team, while Ashwani Kumari라이브 바카라 future is the same. Amisha Bahukhandi and Priyanka Bala also find no buyers.

Niki Prasad as well as uncapped pacer Rima Ekka go unsold, while UP Warriorz pick Kranti Goud for Rs 10 lakh.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have picked 18-year-old Joshitha VJ for Rs 10 lakh, while 20-year-old all-rounder Sanskriti Gupta will play for Mumbai Indians.

Shivani Singh, Parunika Sisodia, Tess Flintoff, Tanusree Sarkar, Prakashika Naik, Komalpreet Kour, and Shanu Sen are remain unsold. 

With just seven slots remaining, the auctioneer has asked every team to submit two more names for the final segment.
