24 teams are set to clash today in matchday 8 of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers in 12 matches. Only six slots are available and each team will try to win their respective matches to be one of the six nations that qualify for the next round.
Chinese Taipei will be up against Turkmenistan at the Kaohsiung National Stadium in Gaoxiong whereas Myanmar will face Afghanistan at the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon. Both matches will kickstart at 04:00 PM IST.
Myanmar Vs Afghanistan match started on time with the home team taking advantage on the ball at the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon.
Chinese Taipei Vs Turkmenistan match started with a delay of five minutes but the home team is hopeful of winning their first match against the comparatively stronger side of Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan defeated Chinese Taipei at their own backyard 2-1 comfortably in the third-round match of the Asian Cup Qualifications. Y. Gurbanov's goal in the 83rd minute proved crucial in the match.

Philippines defeated Maldives 4-1 in the third-round match of the AFC Asian Cup qualification. S. Reyes scored a goal in the stoppage time and R. Schneider scored in the 79th minute which helped in the win.

Tajikistan defeated East Timor 1-0 in the third round match of the AFC Asian Cup qualification. V. Khanonov is the only scorer of the match. The third-minute goal was the only goal in the match. East Timor failed to score any goal in the match.

Vietnam managed to score two goals in the first half against Laos and have an advantage in the game. Thailand scored any opening goal in the first half against Sri Lanka. On the other hand, the Singapore Vs Hong Kong match remained goalless in the first half.
Bhutan Vs Yemen match in the third round of the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers ended in a goalless draw. No player from both teams managed to score a single goal in the match.

Malaysia took a lead in the game after a 29th minute goal from Hector Hevel. Nepal conceded the goal right after Ayush Ghalan, a forward of Pokhara FC was booked for a bad foul. Now, they have to score the equaliser as early as possible to bounce back into the game.

Vietnam defeated Laos 5-0 in their third-round match of the AFC Asian Cup qualifications. Singapore, on the other hand, played out a goalless draw with Hong Kong.

Hector Alexander Hevel Serrano, born on 15 May 1996, is a prominent Malaysian-Dutch professional footballer currently commanding the midfield for Portuguese club Portimonense. In January 2017, Hevel made a defining move to Cypriot First Division club AEK Larnaca, where he left his mark by competing in 74 league matches and netting five goals over three and a half seasons. His exceptional performance was instrumental in securing the team's triumphs, including the 2017–18 Cypriot Cup and the 2018 Cypriot Super Cup.
