Just like the round of 16, the last-eight stage too will have a home-and-away leg format, and the team that wins the tie on aggregate will advance to the semi-finals. The first-leg games will be played between March 4 and 6, while the second-leg clashes are slated from March 11 to 13.
In addition to Tractor FC and Al Taawoun, the other six teams in fray are: Sanfrecce Hiroshima (Japan), Lion City Sailors (Singapore), Shabab Al-Ahli (UAE), Sharjah FC (UAE), Jeonbuk (Korea) and Sydney FC (Australia). The eight teams are divided equally across the East and West regions.
This is the 21st edition of Asia's second-tier club football tournament, organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). For the first 20 seasons, it was known as the AFC Cup, and the current season is the first one with a revised format and the new name of AFC Champions League Two.
