Barcelona 4-3 Real Madrid, La Liga: Mbappe Nets Hattrick But Raphinha Leads Barca Comeback In El Clasico
In another thrilling El Clasico at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys in Matchday 35 of the Spanish La Liga 2024-25 on 11 May, FC Barcelona emerged 4-3 winners against Real Madrid. Despite fielding an injury-ravaged team, Madrid started strongly and Kylian Mbappe scored twice in the opening 14 minutes to give the visitors a 2-0 lead. However, the Blaugranas mounted a remarkable comeback, with goals from Eric Garcia, Lamine Yamal, and Raphinha, turning the game around to lead 4-2 by halftime. Mbappe completed his hat-trick in the 70th minute, but Barcelona held on for a nervy win, taking them seven points clear at the top of the table.
