Here's how the two teams line up, ahead of kick-off in Bengaluru:
The match has begun in scrappy fashion, with three yellow cards being issues inside the first eight minutes. Ryan Williams (Bengaluru FC), Rahul KP and Jerry Mawihmingthanga (both from Odisha FC) are the players deemed to be committing fouls.
The Sree Kanteerava crowd is on its feet. Edgar Mendez and the taslimanic Sunil Chhetri have scored in quick succession to put the Blues two ahead in virtually no time. First, Mendez converts Suresh Singh's assist in the 10th minute. Then, Chhetri takes over from an Alberto Noguera pass following a fast break, and shoots spectacularly in the 13th. Bengaluru are out with a vengeance.
The drama is unrelenting in Bengaluru, with Aleksandar Jovanovic being shown the red card in the 26th, Naorem Roshan Singh giving a sloppy back pass to Bengaluru FC goalie Gurpreet in the 29th and Diego Mauricio converting the resulting penalty. The Kalinga Warriors pull one back in the first half hour itself. We could be in for a goalfest tonight.
Another penalty, another goal for Odisha FC. It is that man Diego Mauricio again, who converts it with utmost ease in the 38th minute. And we are all squared up at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium.
An eventful first half comes to an end. Four goals already in, and we might see a few more on the other side. Nothing separating the two teams at the moment.
Bengaluru striker Ryan Williams goes down soon after the half-time interval. He looks in considerable pain, but eventually gets up and play resumes. Odisha attacking from left to right, and Bengaluru from right to left in the second half.
Jerry Mawihmingthanga tops off a delightful move by Odisha with a goal. A corner for the Kalinga Warriors leads to the ball being cleared but then being brought back into play, and after a series of short passes, being sent Mourtada Fall's way. He plays a superb assist for Jerry, who converts cleanly to put the tourists ahead and stun the partisan home crowd into silence.
Sunil Chhetri walks off in the 62nd minute, substituted by fellow forward Sivasakthi Narayanan. The brace-scoring Diego Mauricio, too, is subbed out for Dori. Meanwhile, a few corners and shots on goal for both sides, but the scoreline stays at 3-2 in Odisha's favour.
The final whistle rings out, and that studs the Warriors' stunning turnaround with a win. Having been two goals down after 13 minutes, Odisha have bounced back in style, equalising in the first half via back-to-back Diego Mauricio penalties and then finding the winner via Jerry Mawihmingthanga to edge ahead 3-2. The victory completes Odisha FC's first-ever league double over Bengaluru FC.
