Lionel Messi gave it everything but couldn’t find the net on a chilly night in Chicago, as Inter Miami played out a goalless draw. The Argentine superstar came close three times from free kicks, hitting the crossbar once and missing narrowly on two more. Chicago had their chances too, but Inter Miami goalkeeper Oscar Ustari came up big with seven saves, including a huge one late on to deny Jonathan Bamba from close range. Chris Brady was solid at the other end, stopping Messi early and finishing with three saves of his own.
