English Premier League Matchday 35: Brentford Pip Man United; Newcastle Hold Brighton

Brentford pipped a much-altered Manchester United side 4-3 in a thrilling Premier League encounter on Sunday (May 4) to boost their hopes of qualifying for Champions League for the first time. Two goals from Kevin Schade guided Thomas Frank's side up to ninth with 52 points, a potential Conference League spot within touching distance with three games left. Meanwhile, Newcastle United dropped points at Brighton. A first-half goal by Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh looked like seeing off his old club, only for Alexander Isak to convert a penalty in the 89th minute. And Ange Postecoglou left out a slew of key players for Tottenham Hotspur's 1-1 draw with West Ham in a London derby between two struggling teams.
