CONCACAF Champions Cup: Inter Miami Beat Cavalier Sans Messi
Lionel Messi watched from the VIP box seat as his Inter Miami side registered a routine 2-0 victory against Cavalier FC in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup game on Friday, March 7 (IST). Luis Suárez and Tadeo Allende scored second-half goals as the Herons claimed a comfortable win in the Round of 16 tie held at Lauderdale. The second leg will be on March 13 in Kingston, Jamaica. Cavalier, which won the Jamaican Premier League title last season, advanced to this phase of the Champions Cup after winning the CONCACAF Caribbean Cup in December.
