Manchester United Vs Arsenal, EPL: Amorim Admits He Won't Be Given Extra Time To Change Fortunes

The Spaniard replaced Unai Emery in the Arsenal dugout in December 2019, and though he won the 2020 FA Cup in his first season – the Gunners' only trophy under him – they initially struggled in the league, taking three campaigns to qualify for the Champions League.

Arsenal finished eighth and fifth in바카라 웹사이트the Premier League in their first two full seasons under Arteta but are now regular title challengers, having finished as runners-up to Manchester City in both 2022-23 and 2023-24.

Arsenal, who are currently 13 points behind leaders Liverpool, look set to finish second in the Premier League once again.

Arteta will take charge of his 200th Premier League game against United on Sunday, but Amorim does not expect to receive the same patience from his bosses.

"I will not have the time Arteta had," Amorim told reporters on Friday.

"I feel that. It's a different club. I think it's a different club.

"I think in that aspect, the way Arteta dealt with that is an inspiration for everybody, but I will not have the time like Arteta had."

They are given just a 5% chance of finishing in the top half this season by the Opta supercomputer, and most commonly finish 15th in the season simulations (22.5%).

Meanwhile, Casemiro says it is "too soon"바카라 웹사이트to discuss his United future, with just over a year left on his current deal.

The Brazilian, whose contract runs until June 2026, has slipped down the pecking order at Old Trafford since Amorim's arrival and has been linked with a move away throughout the season.

Since November 11, when Amorim took charge of United, Casemiro has made just seven Premier League appearances, starting seven of those games, but has only managed 387 minutes.

"It's too soon to talk about next season, but, of course, I have another year of [my] contract and then an option," he said. "We have important games, and on Sunday we have Arsenal.

"It's too soon to talk about next season. I'm here, I'm available, with total happiness, and I'm ready for the coach and the club. As everyone knows, I'm a big character for the club.

"Of course, I want to play, I want to have more minutes, but the coach is the one who makes the decisions, and I have a lot of respect for him and for the club."
