Manchester United achieved a victory at Old Trafford under new manager Ruben Amorim, coming from behind to beat Bodo/Glimt 3-2 in the Europa League. United scored just 48 seconds in, thanks to a mistake from goalkeeper Nikita Haikin, which allowed Alejandro Garnacho to tap in the opening goal. However, Bodo/Glimt quickly turned the game around, scoring two goals in four minutes to take the lead. United equalized before halftime, with Rasmus Hojlund delivering a fantastic finish. He later scored the winner from a Manuel Ugarte cross early in the second half. Despite the win, Amorim may be frustrated with the numerous missed chances, particularly from Garnacho, who failed to capitalize on good positions. Substitute Marcus Rashford also missed a shot as United sought to extend their lead. In the end, the final whistle confirmed Amorim's first victory since leaving Sporting.
