Mohun Bagan kick-off the game, and it's getting aggressive even in the early stages, with Alberto Rodriguez body-checking a Bengaluru player. Referee blows the whistle.
MBSG 0-0 BFC (3')
Bengaluru FC put some early pressure on the home side, but Mohun Bagan is the first team to venture in the opponent's penalty box, with both Cummings and Manvir trying to break forward, but the Blues hold firm.
MBSG 0-0 BFC (7')
Mohun Bagan's centre-backs are strong in their challenges so far, and Tom Aldred is combining well with Alberto Rodriguez to make sure that nothing troubles Vishal Kaith in the early stages.
After some early pressure from BFC, it's Bagan who are looking more threatening of the two teams. Jason Cummings tries a low cross from the right hand side, but Gupreet Singh Sandhu parries it away before Maclaren can make contact.
MBSG 0-0 BFC (10')
All the attacks are coming from the Mariners at the moment. After a Cummings free-kick led to nowhere, it is Liston Colaco's turn to pull one back into the box, and Thapa comes rushing in, but his shot is blocked by the Bengaluru defence.
MBSG 0-0 BFC (15')
It's all Mohun Bagan at the moment, and a ball from Ryan Williams almost finds Jamie Maclaren, but Gurpreet scoops the ball right off the feet of the attacker.
MBSG 0-0 BFC (18')
It's Bengaluru FC who get the first half-chance of the game against the run of the play. Sunil Chhetri's header is cleared off the line by skipper Subhasish Bose, and Bengaluru can't follow it up, hitting it at Vishal Kaith.
MBSG 0-0 BFC (20')
Vishal Kaith comes under a bit of pressure, and a cross-turned-shot from Namgyal Bhutia is plucked off the air by the Bagan keeper. An akward one for him.
MBSG 0-0 BFC (23')
Ryan Williams tries to curl one into the box, and it hits Subhasish Bose in the arm. BFC's Number 7 screams for handball, but referee deems it as "natural position" and waves play on.
MBSG 0-0 BFC (25')
It's end-to-end football at Salt Lake Stadium. A good ball from Stewart almost puts Maclaren through, and Williams tries to take on the loose ball near Marines' wing, but the defence cleras.
MBSG 0-0 BFC (30')
Bengaluru have caught the Mariners defence sleeping again, and Nogueria's free-kick almost reaches Sunil Chhetri at the edge of the Bagan box, but it was a bit high for the veteran striker. BFC have the ascendancy at the moment.
MBSG 0-0 BFC (35')
Several big names are in attendance at the MBSG vs BFC game, including NorthEast United striker Alaaeddine Ajaraie, CFC coach Owen Coyle, and Kerala Blasters CEO Abhik Chatterjee.
Mohun Bgaan are clearly struggling to deal with the pace of Ryan Williams, and the winger is finding himself in the box with increased frequency, as is Sunil Chhetri. The MBSG defenders are feeling the pressure at the moment.
MBSG 0-0 BFC (40')
A shot from distance by Edgar Mendez aside, no clear-cut chances for either team, as the game is getting scrappier with the minute as half-time approaches.
MBSG 0-0 BFC (45+1')
Benglauru have been the stronger side in at least in the later parts of the first-half, but neither side have been able to fashion any clear-cut chances so far, which means that we got goalless at the break.
MBSG 0-0 BFC (HT)
What a fantastic save from Vishal Kaith. Noguera runs freely down the right side and pulls it back for Ryan Williams, who shoots first time, but the Mariners keeper gets a big right hand to keep the ball out of the net.
Mariners counter almost immediately, but Cummings strays offside before he crosses it to Manvir Singh.
MBSG 0-0 BFC (48')

MBSG 0-1 BFC (49')
Subhasish Bose wins the ball with a strong - but legal, as per the referee - challenge, and passes it forward to Jason Cummings, who finds himself in acres of space and takes a low shot towards the right corner, but Gupreet gets down in time to keep it out.
MBSG 0-1 BFC (57')
Namgyal Bhutia leaves the pitch and is replaced by Bengaluru FC with Lalremtluanga Fanai.
Meanwhile, Mariners prepare a double change of their own, with Liston Colaco and Anirudh Thapa being withdrawn and Ashique Kuruniyan and Sahal Amdul Samad coming on.
MBSG 0-1 BFC (62')
Edgar Mendez goes off and is replaced by Jorge Pereyra Diaz. Mendez points towards a boot mark on his calf, and signals "zero" with his finger - a clear jab on Shubhasish Bose, who has somehow escaped getting booked despite some cruch challenges tonight.
MBSG 0-1 BFC (67')
A lifeline for Mohun Bagan! The shot from Jamie Maclaren off Cummings' cross hits the arm of a diving Sana, and the referee blows the whistle immediately. A few BFC players protest, but the ref is unmoved.
Cummings to take the spot kick.
Who else? After an all-round performance, Jason Cummings gets a goal to show for it, and shoots right at the bottom right corner, beyong the reach of Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, who dived the correct way.
MBSG 1-1 BFC (72')
Ashique and Sahal have been livewires for Mohun Bagan since coming on, and the home side are clearly looking to get the match wrapped before extra time.

Ashique's pace has finally beaten Pedro Capo, who clatters into him, earning the second yellow card of the match.
MBSG 1-1 BFC (89')
Greg Stewart gives a pin-point pass to Jamie Maclaren, but the forward can't connect with it first time, but Mohun Bagan are threatening in the dying minutes of normal time.

A nice save from Vishal Kaith so early in the extra time period. Ryan Williams fires one, but the Mariners keeper keeps it level.
MBSG 1-1 BFC (94')
It's Jamie Maclaren who might have gotten the winner for Mohun Bagan. A good ball from Greg Stewart ricochets off a Bengluru defenders and Maclaren's finish goes through Gurpreet's legs to give MBSG the lead.

We are half-way through the extra-time period, and Mohun Bagan are in control at the moment after Maclaren handed them a deserved lead.
Noguera receives the ball, and substitute Deepak Tangri absolutely clatters into him, and gets his name in the referee's book.
MBSG 2-1 BFC (106')
After Tangri's foul, Chhetri takes the resulting free-kick, and tries to bend on in on the top corner. However, he fails to put enough dip, and the ball flies over the upright.
MBSG 2-1 BFC (108')
With just seven minutes left on the clock, let's have a look at how Jamie Maclaren celebrated after scoring what can very well be the winner of tonight's match:
A half-chance for Fanai, but the midfielder completely fluffs his chance from substitute Sivasakthi's pass.
MBSG 2-1 BFC (115')
A high-challenge from Sivasakthi on Alberto Rodriguez, and he is the latest player to be booked.
MBSG 2-1 BFC (118')
That's that! Referee blows the final whistle, and Mohun Bagan players erupt in joy as they secure a historic double -- winning both the ISL Shield and the Cup, becoming only the second team to do so!
Alberto Rodriguez points at the camera and shouts "Joy Mohun Bagan", and the rest are dancing and cheering on. The Bengaluru FC players are sulking in their dugout, and Sunil Chhetri just stares ahead.
