Sunday's Argentine Primera Division 2025 Apertura fixture at the iconic El Monumental, the home of 'Los Millonarios' in Buenos Aires, also witnessed more than 85,000 fans observe a minute's silence in memory of Pope Francis. Marcelo Gallardo's River are now third in Zone B on 28 points, while Fernando Gago's Boca, despite the defeat, continue to lead Zone A with 32 points.
