Veteran defender Mats Hummels scored a late equalizer for Claudio Ranieri's Roma, frustrating Tottenham in the Europa League. Hummels, returning to European play for the first time since the Champions League final in July, conceded a penalty in the fifth minute but redeemed himself in stoppage time by tapping in Angelino's cross. Tottenham controlled much of the match, with Son Heung-min converting the early penalty and Brennan Johnson scoring after a cutback from Dejan Kulusevski.
