GT Vs RR, IPL 2025: Gujarat Titans Thrash Rajasthan Royals In Ahmedabad To Reach Top Of Points Table
Gujarat Titans defeated Rajasthan Royals by 58 runs in their Indian Premier League match held in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. Chasing a target of 218 runs, the Royals were bowled out for 159 in 19.2 overs. Shimron Hetmyer was the top scorer for the Royals, making 52 runs off 32 balls, while captain Sanju Samson contributed with 41 runs off 28 balls. For the Gujarat Titans, Prasidh Krishna took three wickets, and both Rashid Khan and Sai Kishore claimed two wickets each. Earlier in the match, Sai Sudharsan played a stellar innings, scoring 82 runs off 53 balls, which included eight fours and three sixes, helping GT to post a total of 217 for 6. Additionally, Shahrukh Khan and Jos Buttler each scored 36 runs.
