Manchester City's Erling Haaland celebrates after scoring his side's second goal during the English Premier League soccer match between Manchester City and Chelsea at Etihad Stadium in Manchester, England.
Manchester City continued their Premier League revival with a 3-1 comeback victory over Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium. The match started poorly for City, as debutant Abdukodir Khusanov's mistake gifted Chelsea an early lead. However, City equalized just before halftime through Josko Gvardiol. In the second half, Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez made a costly error, allowing Erling Haaland to put City ahead. Phil Foden then sealed the win with a late goal, extending City's unbeaten run to six matches. The win moved City up to fourth, though they remain 12 points behind league leaders Liverpool.
