MI Vs RCB, IPL 2025: Royal Challengers Bengaluru secured their third win in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 after defeating Mumbai Indians by 12 runs at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday, 7 April. Being sent to bat first, RCB had a fiery start as Virat Kohli (67 off 42) and Rajat Patidar (64 off 32), aided by a 40-run knock from Jitesh Sharma, posted a total of 221. Mumbai Indians had a slow start, losing four wickets at 99. However, a 56-run knock from Tilak Varma along with Hardik Pandya (42 off 15) gave MI a chance, but they ultimately fell 12 runs short.
