Last weekend at the Australian Grand Prix, reigning constructors' champions McLaren made a bold statement with the powerhouse they’ve built for 2025. The British team locked out the front row, with Lando Norris securing pole and home hero Oscar Piastri lining up second.

With five rookies on the grid, the race saw early chaos--made even trickier by the rain. Lando Norris clinched victory, while Max Verstappen and George Russell battled it out before finishing second and third, respectively.

The 18-year-old Mercedes Kimi Antonelli driver impressed everyone. Strating the race from 16th he finished at 4th, displaying exceptional skill in wet conditions with the W15. He was the only rookie to score points.

Oscar Piastri, along with his teammate, dominated much of the race before a sudden downpour on Lap 44 of 57 turned the contest on its head. Both McLarens slid into the gravel at Turn 12, but while Norris managed to recover, Piastri went deeper, losing control and sliding onto the grass at Turn 13, ultimately costing him a shot at the podium. He managed a P9 finish.

Lewis Hamilton라이브 바카라 Ferrari debut in Melbourne turned into a nightmare. A strategic misstep in the rain saw Ferrari leave him out on dry tires for too long, costing crucial points.

Charles Leclerc finished eighth, while his new teammate Hamilton managed to salvage a single point with a 10th-place finish, capping off a disappointing weekend for Ferrari.

Now, it is time for the Shanghai ride, where the track is known for its high tyre wear and thrilling overtaking opportunities. The track features two long straights--the pit straight and the 1.170 km back straight between Turns 13 and 14--both equipped with DRS zones.

In 2024, the defending champion Max Verstappen won the Chinese Grand Prix. Lando and Sergio Perez finished on podiums taking P2 and P3, respectively.
