NBA: Curry Leads Warriors to 111-95 Victory Over Pelicans
Steph Curry returned from injury to score 23 points as the Golden State Warriors secured a 111-95 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night. Despite a slow start, Curry helped the Warriors (42-31) snap a two-game losing streak. Jimmy Butler III added 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Jonathan Kuminga and Quinten Post contributed 16 and 15 points, respectively. The Pelicans (20-54) started strong, taking a 14-2 lead, but Golden State gradually gained momentum. After trailing 53-50 at halftime, the Warriors took control in the third quarter, heading into the fourth with an 83-82 advantage. A dominant 28-13 final quarter sealed the win, with key contributions from Green and Podziemski. Bruce Brown led New Orleans with 18 points, while Yves Missi recorded a double-double. The victory completed a four-game season sweep for Golden State, solidifying their playoff push.
