NBA: Lakers Beat Mavericks 112-97 In Doncic's Homecoming
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Dallas Mavericks 112-97 on Wednesday night in their NBA game. Luka Doncic led Dallas with 45 points, including 31 in the first half, while LeBron James contributed 27 points and 7 rebounds for the Lakers. Rui Hachimura added 15 points. Despite Doncic's strong fightback, the Lakers' team effort in the second half, secured the win. With this victory, the Lakers (49-31) strengthened their hold on the third spot in the Western Conference, while the Mavericks (38-42) secured a play-in spot after Phoenix's loss.
