NBA: Curry Sparks Warriors To Game 1 Win Over Rockets
Stephen Curry bounced back in emphatic style, dropping a game-high 31 points to power the Golden State Warriors to a 95-85 win over the Houston Rockets in Game 1 of their Western Conference first-round playoff series on Sunday. Curry, who had struggled in their last meeting against the Rockets, was on fire this time—going 12-for-19 from the field, including five triples, and collecting six rebounds. Jimmy Butler III provided solid support with 25 points, seven rebounds, and six assists as the visiting Warriors secured a crucial 1-0 lead ahead of Game 2 in Houston on Wednesday.
