New York Knicks Vs Detroit Pistons, NBA: Jalen Brunson's Second-Half Surge Leads Hosts To Game 1 Victory
Jalen Brunson scored 34 points, including 23 in the second half, as the New York Knicks surged past the Detroit Pistons 123-112 in Game 1. After trailing 98-90, the Knicks went on a 21-0 run in the fourth quarter. Cameron Payne added 14 points, and Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 23 points and 11 rebounds in his playoff debut with New York. Tobias Harris led Detroit with 25 points, while Cade Cunningham had 21 points and 12 assists but struggled with six turnovers. The Pistons extended their record 14-game postseason losing streak. Game 2 is on Monday night.
