NBA: San Antonio Spurs’ Stephon Castle Wins Rookie Of The Year Award For 2024-25 Season

Castle led all rookies in total points this season and averaged 14.7 per game, along with 3.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 0.91 steals

The results were announced during TNT라이브 바카라 pre-game telecast on Tuesday.

Castle was a runaway winner, receiving 92 of a possible 100 first-place votes.

The Atlanta Hawks’ Zaccharie Risacher, the No. 1 pick in the 2024 draft, finished second with five first-place votes. Jaylen Wells of the Memphis Grizzlies received the other three first-place votes and finished third.

Castle led all rookies in total points this season and averaged 14.7 per game, along with 3.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 0.91 steals.

The Spurs had the Rookie of the Year in consecutive seasons after Victor바카라 웹사이트Wembanyama won the award last season. Castle is the fourth San Antonio player to be recognised atop their rookie class, along with NBA legends Tim Duncan and David Robinson.

Castle entered the draft after winning an NCAA national championship with the University of Connecticut. He played 81 games as a rookie, including 47 starts, often sharing the backcourt with highly accomplished veteran Chris Paul.

“I get so excited watching him play,” Paul said. “The first thing that I want to see in a teammate or anybody is how competitive they are. That’ll take you further than talent any day.

“And I saw immediately was that he was competitive. I was like, ‘OK, cool. This is going to be easy.’”
