PBKS Vs DC, IPL 2025: Match Abandoned Due To Security Reasons In Dharamsala
The IPL match between the Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals, scheduled for Thursday, was called off due to security concerns following air raid alerts in nearby areas. These alerts caused a blackout in the hill town, prompting the evacuation of teams and spectators from the stadium for their safety. At the time of the blackout, the Punjab Kings were batting at 122 for 1 in 10.1 overs. Initially, the disruption was attributed to a failure of the floodlights. Prabhsimran Singh was at the crease with a score of 50 off 28 balls, while his opening partner, Priyansh Arya, had made 70 off 34 balls before being dismissed by pacer T. Natarajan, shortly before the match was halted.
