SL Vs AUS, 1st Test Day 4: Australia Beat Sri Lanka By An Innings And 242 Runs In Galle
Australia defeated Sri Lanka by an innings and 242 runs in their first Test match of the bilateral series in Galle on Saturday. On Day 4, Sri Lanka resumed their batting from 135/5 and lost eight wickets in the first session. They were forced to follow on and lost all of their wickets in the second innings for just 247 runs. Usman Khawaja was named the Player of the Match for his double ton. Matthew Kuhnemann and Nathan Lyon starred with the ball for the tourists as they picked nine and seven wickets respectively in the match.
