Jannik Sinner Kicks Off Training After Doping Ban At Home Soil
Coming into the 2025 Italian Open as World No. 1, home favorite Jannik Sinner received a warm welcome from fans as he stepped onto the courts at Foro Italico for training sessions. After a three-month break following his back-to-back Australian Open titles in January, this tournament serves as the perfect warm-up for the three-time Grand Slam winner ahead of the French Open. Sinner has a bye into the second round, where he'll face either Mariano Navone or wild card Federico Cina on Saturday, May 10.
