Of the surviving 16, five are unseeded players and each one has etched unforgettable memories at Melbourne Park. But the best of the lot is one teenager and a 38-year-old, with a 19-year age gap between the two, in the same half, on a collision course. That's Learner Tien (19) and Gael Monfils.
