The 2025 Open Occitanie will be played on indoor hard courts, and it is the 38th edition of the tournament. It is part of the ATP Tour 250 series within the 2025 ATP Tour calendar.
Founded in 1987, the tournament was originally held every year in October at the Palais des Sports de Gerland in Lyon. It continued at this venue until 2009, after which it was relocated to the Arena Montpellier in 2010.

Prize money for the 2025 Open Occitanie at Montpellier totaled €581,140, an increase from the 2024 edition. The winner will take away €90,680 and will earn 250 ranking points, a pay rise from the amount put in Alexander Bublik's hands as a reward for winning the title last year.
