Helmed by Top Gun: Maverick fame director Joseph Kosinski, F1 will hit the screens on June 27, 2025.
Hollywood star Brad Pitt, 61, will be seen in the upcoming film F1. The latest teaser of the much-anticipated movie gave glimpse of Brad Pitt's character, Sonny Hayes, a retired Formula One driver. He returns to the profession to mentor a promising rookie (played by Damson Idris).
He is seen laying shirtless on a sofa, flaunting his tattoos on his arms, chest, and abdomen. There are hardly any dialogues in the latest teaser.
The official synopsis of F1 reads, "From Apple Original Films and the filmmakers from Top Gun: Maverick comes F1®, starring Brad Pitt and directed by Joseph Kosinski. The film is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Kosinski, famed Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner, Dede Gardner and Chad Oman."
It further reads, "The highly anticipated Formula 1® racing feature stars Pitt as a former driver who returns to Formula 1®, alongside Damson Idris as his teammate at APXGP, a fictional team on the grid. The feature has been shot during actual Grand Prix weekends as the team competes against the titans of the sport.''
The first teaser was launched in 2024 where Pitt's Hayes was heard instructing his engineer (Kerry Condon), to "build a car for battle," to which she replies, "How do I make that safe?" Hayes says, "Who said it had to be safe?"
Helmed by Top Gun: Maverick fame director Joseph Kosinski, F1 will hit the screens on June 27, 2025. It has been produced by seven-time Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton. Apart from Pitt, the film also stars Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem in pivotal roles.
