Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning is set all set to hit the theatres on May 23, 2025.
The trailer for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning was unveiled on Monday, April 7, and it brings back Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt to embark on yet another high-octane ride, with some more death-defying stunts. The action-packed trailer hints that Mission: Impossible 8 might mark the end of the three-decade era of the popular franchise.
The film starts where the Dead Reckoning Part One left off. Hunt is back with his battle against the powerful AI, called the 'Entity'. He requests his team to “trust him one last time."
There is a voiceover saying, “Everything you were, everything you’ve done, has come to this. When the need for certainty is absolute and the odds are deemed impossible, the mission falls to him, should he choose to accept."
Tom Cruise performs some adrenaline-fuelled stunts including a sequence where he hangs off World War II-era fighter plane.
Earlier, in an interview with Empire, Tom revealed that the shoot was very demanding. He said, “When you stick your face out [of an airplane], going over 120 to 130 miles an hour, you’re not getting oxygen. So I had to train myself how to breathe. There were times I would pass out physically; I was unable to get back into the cockpit."
The trailer turns fans nostalgic as it shows some of the most memorable stunts and emotional moments of the franchise.
It also gives the glimpse of the underwater submarine scene.

The action spy thriller is directed by Christopher McQuarrie. He also wrote the screenplay with Erik Jendresen.
Mission: Impossible 8 also stars Henry Czerny, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Pom Klementieff, Ving Rhames, Hannah Waddingham, Katy O’Brian, Nick Offerman, and Tramell Tillman, among others.
It is all set to hit the screens on May 23, 2025.
