In the thrilling teaser, Tom's Ethan Hunt is seen in the sky on an airplane. It begins with him sprinting as the sun rises in a forest. He hangs off the side of an airplane, and hugs a few friends one last time. He is also seen diving deep underwater.

Tom spoke to Empire magazine where he revealed about a high-stakes sequence. He said, “When you stick your face out, going over 120 to 130 miles an hour, you’re not getting oxygen. So I had to train myself how to breathe. There were times I would pass out physically; I was unable to get back into the cockpit''.
