Ajay Devgn, born as Vishal Veeru Devgan on April 2, 1969, is a well-known Indian actor, director, and producer in Bollywood. With over 100 films to his name, he is one of the most successful stars in Hindi cinema. He has won four National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards and was honored with the Padma Shri in 2016 by the Government of India.
Ajay made his debut in Bollywood with Phool Aur Kaante (1991), where his iconic stunt balancing between two motorcycles made him an instant star. Throughout the 1990s, he established himself as an action hero with hits like Vijaypath (1994), Dilwale (1994), Jaan (1996), Major Saab (1998), and Kachche Dhaage (1999). In his personal life, Ajay was initially in a relationship with actress Karisma Kapoor but later fell in love with Kajol while filming Gundaraj (1995). Despite being considered an "unlikely pair" due to their contrasting personalities, they got married in a private Maharashtrian ceremony on February 24, 1999. They have two children—daughter Nysa (born in 2003) and son Yug (born in 2010).
