Vishal Bhardwaj, born on August 4, 1965, is a well-known Indian filmmaker, music composer, and singer. He has won multiple National Film Awards and a Filmfare Award for his contributions to Hindi cinema.
Bhardwaj started his career as a music composer with the film Abhay (1995) but gained recognition with Maachis (1996), which won him the Filmfare R.D. Burman Award. He went on to compose music for Satya (1998) and Godmother (1999), earning his first National Film Award for Best Music Direction.
