Greenland's Prime Minister Múte Egede has expressed his willingness to engage in negotiations with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump regarding the future ties with the US, though he emphasized that Greenland does not seek to become part of the United States, according to the New York Post. Speaking at a press conference in Denmark with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen on January 10, Egede stated that he is open to discussions about the shared interests between Greenland and the U.S. "We are ready to talk. Cooperation is about dialogue. It means working together toward solutions," he said.
