United States Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has allegedly shared a war plan about US military strikes on Yemen in a second private Signal group, this time with his close personal contacts, including his wife, brother, and personal lawyer, CNN reported on Sunday.
Last month, The Atlantic라이브 바카라 Editor-in-Chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, was inadvertently added to a Signal group chat created by National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
This chat, named “Houthi PC small group,” included top Trump administration officials like Vice President J D Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and others discussing sensitive plans for U.S. military strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen, as per the reports.
The recent group chat, reportedly created by Pete Hegseth in January, included his wife Jennifer—a journalist and former Fox News producer—his brother Phil, and attorney Tim Parlatore, who also holds a role in the Pentagon and serves as Hegseth's personal lawyer, New York Times reported.
According to a New York Times report, Hegseth shared information, including "flight schedules for F/A-18 Hornets targeting the Houthis in Yemen". This is the second incident of its kind involving Hegseth.
The revelation comes as some of Hegseth's closest advisers have begun to raise concerns about the secretary's decision, including his former press secretary John Ullyot and three former senior officials whom he fired last week, CNN reported.
"It라이브 바카라 been a month of total chaos at the Pentagon. From leaks of sensitive operational plans to mass firings, the dysfunction is now a major distraction for the president — who deserves better from his senior leadership," Ullyot told CNN.

The first Signal controversy centred on The Atlantic라이브 바카라 editor-in-chief accidentally joining a secure chat in which details of a pending bombing mission in Yemen were shared.
The chat included important people like Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff and United States Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard with some joining from other countries.
Hegseth pushed back against the criticism, saying, "Nobody was texting war plans, and that's all I have to say about that." Gabbard supported Hegseth's claim in a Senate hearing, saying no war strategies were inappropriately exchanged.
