An elderly couple was found dead in their own house in Kerala's Kottayam on Tuesday. The deceased couple was identified as Vijaykumar (71) and his wife Meera (65) with wound on both their bodies. An investigation has been launched as police suspect a murder case.
Vijaykumar was an industrialist and native of Thiruvathukkal in the city. He was also the owner of Indraprastham auditorium in Kottayam.
The bodies were first found by the maid of their house. Like every other morning, when the maid went to the back door to enter the house, she saw the door was closed. Then she went to the main entrance, she noticed blood stains. When she entered the house, she found the two dead bodies of the couple.

Police have suspected this to be a murder case. When the murders were committed it is still not clear. One person who came after knowing about the murder,has informed the police that there was an axe near the dead bodies.
A security guard works in their house for a couple of years, who can’t hear properly. He was informed about the murder by the maid. Also a migrant labourer used to work in their house. He was dismissed from the work over some dispute. One case was registered against him for theft and he was jailed. He is under suspicion.
Kottayam SP Shahul Hameed said that they have got a hint and he clarified that it라이브 바카라 not a theft or robbery case, personal enmity is believed to be the main reason behind the murder.
The deceased couple has a daughter who lives abroad. They had a son also who died in 2018 in a train hit in Kottayam.
