Mumbai police have issued third summons to stand up comedian Kunal Kamra on Wednesday over his controversial statement against Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
According to Mumbai police, he has been asked to record his statement on April 5, Saturday.

As per stated by the officials, this stand up comedian was called twice before for questioning by Mumbai Police but he didn’t appear. They have also mentioned that Kamra라이브 바카라 lawyer was in touch with the police and he stated that the comedian hadn’t mentioned any particular person라이브 바카라 name. But the comedian himself has not yet directly contacted or co-operated with the Mumbai police.
Yesterday he approached Madras High Court,seeking transit anticipatory bail,which provides temporary protection from arrest in home state,even if the FIR is registered in a different jurisdiction. And the Madras high court has granted him interim protection from arrest till April 7.
Kunal Kamra, a famous Indian stand up comedian , who has been in this field for over a decade is mainly famous for his contents related to politics, governance,bachelor life etc.
He started his career as a comedian in the year 2013 and launched a youtube podcast programme like ‘shut up ya Kunal’.
In the past he got into controversy several times, due to his statement about CJI, Supreme Court judge or over an argument with a journalist.
In recent times he is in controversy due to his latest stand-up video , ‘Naya Bharat’ on Youtube.
On March 23, 2025 Kunal Kamra posted a pre-recorded video on his youtube channel named ‘Naya Bharat’, a parody song, where he addressed Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde as ‘Gaddar’(traitor) over Shinde라이브 바카라 political controversy in 2022. Though Kamra has not mentioned anyone라이브 바카라 name, people are speculating it라이브 바카라 about Deputy CM Shinde.
The video got over 12 million views in only 9 days which has sparked a strong backlash. Regarding this video,few followers of Shiv Sena ransacked and vandalised Habitat club,where the video was recorded. Currently three cases have been filed on Kamra regarding his recent statement.
