In solidarity with the victims' families and against the terror attack, people of Jammu and Kashmir unite together and hold a candlelight vigil across the state.
As per reports, candlelight vigils and peace rallies were organised from Baramulla to Srinagar and from Kupwara to Poonch, reflecting the region's pain and solidarity.

Jammu & Kashmir Shuts Against The Terror
On Wednesday, Jammu and Kashmir witnessed an unprecedented shutdown and widespread protest following the horrific attack.
Reports suggest that in over 35 years, this marked the first valley-wide shutdown against terrorism.
Former Chief Minister and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti led a poignant protest march, as per the reports.
"This message is not just an attack on all of us; stop innocent killing," and killing innocents is an act of terror," she said during a protest."

On Tuesday, the Chinar Corps of the Army reported that Kashmiris took to the streets, holding candlelight marches to condemn the senseless violence
“In a cowardly and heart-wrenching act of violence terrorists opened fire on innocent tourists and locals. In the immediate aftermath, Joint Forces are overseeing the situation. Medical teams were swiftly mobilized and casualty evacuation commenced,” the Chinar Corps said in a post on X.
“In response to this senseless violence and the anguish caused to local sentiments, candle march was organised in Sopore, Ganderbal, Handwara, Bandipora and other parts of Kashmir by local populace,” it added.
