The Indian army earlier said that Pakistan had fired artillery into India-administered Kashmir in the area of Bhimber Gali.
Locals told BBC that heard explosions in several parts of Indian-administered Kashmir, including Mendhar which is near Bhimber Gali.
Pakistan issued a notice Tuesday night closing airspace around Lahore, in the country라이브 바카라 north, and the coastal city of Karachi amid airstrikes from India. The notice went into effect at 4:30pm ET and is scheduled to expire on at 2:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
The notice to airmen, also known as a NOTAM, appears to have diverted numerous flights with routes planned through or near Pakistani airspace, according to flight data reviewed by CNN from FlightRadar24.
As tensions between India and Pakistan increased in recent weeks after an April mass shooting in the disputed Kashmir territory, numerous airlines have avoided flying over Pakistan, including Air France and Lufthansa.
Defense Officials said that all air defense units have been activated all along the India-Pakistan border to tackle any eventuality, India Today reported.
The Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has declared a state of emergency across the province after Indian missile strikes.
All doctors and medical staff in Punjab라이브 바카라 hospitals have had their leaves cancelled, Geo News reported.
Additionally, officers and staff from civil defense and other relevant departments have been called to duty.
A video has been making rounds on social media of the Operations Sindoor.
India's Ministry of Defence, Government of India said that the country has launched Operation Sindoor as a response to the Pahalgam attack.

Water Treaty Suspended, Visa Cancelled
In view of the cross-border linkages to the Pahalgam attack, India responded with a series of retaliatory measures against Pakistan including the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty (IWT), suspension of visas, closure of Wagah-Attari border amongst others.
India Bans Import, Transit From Pakistan
India on Saturday announced a ban on direct or indirect import of all goods from Pakistan with immediate effect, the Commerce Ministry said.
India also suspended exchange of all categories of mail and parcels from Pakistan through air and surface routes amid escalating tensions between the two nations.
Indian Airspace Closed
Six days after Islamabad barred Indian-operated flights from its airspace, New Delhi has responded in kind, announcing a complete ban on Pakistani-owned and operated aircraft from entering Indian airspace.
Pakistani Channels Banned
Previously, on the recommendation of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Government of India banned 16 Pakistani YouTube channels having a cumulative subscriber list of approximately 63 million for circulating provocative and communally sensitive content while also propagating misleading narratives against India.
The channels that were banned include Dawn News, SAMAA TV, Irshad Bhatti, ARY News, BOL News, Raftar, The Pakistan reference, Geo News, Samaa Sports, GNN, Uzair Cricket. Umar Cheema Exclusive, Asma Shirazi, Muneeb Farooq, SUNO News HD, and Razi Naama.
Pak Actors' Social Media Handles Blocked
Recently, the official Instagram handles of several Pakistani actors, including Hania Aamir and Mahira Khan have been disabled in India. Several Indian users are currently unable to access their profiles.
Besides the two popular actors, the other Pakistani celebrities whose Instagram accounts have been disabled in India include Ali Zafar, Maya Ali, Sanam Saeed, Bilal Abbas, Iqra Aziz, Imran Abbas and Sajal Aly. However, the Instagram accounts of some other popular Pakistani actors like Fawad Khan and Wahaj Ali are still visible in India
Pakistan claimed that three people were killed, including a child, the country's military spokesperson Ahmed Chaudhary told Geo TV.
US President Donald Trump while reacting to Operation Sindoor said that it is a shame. "We just heard about it. They have been fighting for many decades and centuries. I hope it ends very quickly," Trump said in a presser.

The Indian Armed Forces launched ‘OPERATION SINDOOR’ hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed. Altogether, nine (9) sites have been targeted.
A press release issued by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) at 1:44 a.m. provided details about Operation Sindoor, launched just days after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which the suspects are believed to have links to Pakistan.
Titled “India announces Operation Sindoor against terror infrastructure in Pakistan,” the statement confirmed that nine locations were targeted in the operation.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has instructed the northern and western states along with Union territories to conduct civil defence mock drills on May 7 amid escalating tensions with Pakistan over the Pahalgam attack. The directive came on May 5 where civilians will be trained to protect themselves in case of a war.
Releasing a letter pertaining to the drill, the Directorate General Fire Service, Civil Defence and Home Guards said, “In the current geo-political scenario, new and complex threats/challenges have emerged, hence, it would be prudent that optimum civil defence preparedness in the states/UTs is maintained at all times.”
