All-Party Meeting Advocates for Poverty Eradication, Waste-Free Kerala, and Palliative Care

The all-party meeting fully supports extreme poverty eradication, waste-free New Kerala, and palliative care campaigns. The Chief Minister said in the meeting that these programs will be conducted at the local government level and everyone's cooperation should be ensured there.

All organizations, including religious organizations, will be involved in the program. The Chief Minister said that political and mass participation is essential to make these three projects a reality and they need to be completed in a timely manner. The Chief Minister requested political parties and mass organizations to cooperate with the campaign with a comprehensive perspective. The Chief Minister said in the meeting that the government is providing unstinting support to welfare activities, including those carried out at the local government level. 

Opposition leader VD Satheesan said that the opposition will provide full support to the campaign and will instruct them to cooperate with the program. The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the political parties. 

Minister M B Rajesh, M V Govindan (CPI), Pazhakulam Madhu (Congress I), E Chandrasekharan MLA (CPI), M K Muneer MLA (IUML), Stephen George (Kerala Congress M), Mons Joseph MLA (Kerala Congress), V Murugadoss (Janta Dal S), Minister Ramachandran Kadannappally (Congress S) PM Suresh Babu (NCP), Shaja G S Panicker RSP (Leninist), Babu Divakaran (RSP), Kasim Irikkur (INL), P C Joseph (Democratic Kerala Congress) and Chief Secretary Sharada Muralidhan attended the meeting. 

Chief Minister's speech at the all-party meeting - This meeting has been convened to seek the views of all political parties and ensure cooperation to effectively resolve the three important issues facing our country. Political and mass participation is essential for making extreme poverty alleviation, quality-based palliative care, and a waste-free New Kerala a reality on a full scale. Good progress has been made on these issues. It is necessary to ensure that these activities are completed in a timely manner. Let me request you all to support this, beyond party politics, at the outset.
